The purpose of the Safety and Risk Management Committee is to advise and assist the Board in assuring that the Jefferson Lab establishes, implements, and maintains risk management and safety systems, policies, procedures and practices which effectively manage all forms of contract performance risk and which protect the health and safety of all workers and the public at JLab to facilitate program effectiveness and mission success. The Committee also will provide input to the Compensation Committee regarding ES&H and risk management performance in the annual performance evaluation of the JLab Director based on established performance criteria.
