Jeffrey C. Purnell is currently vice president, finance for CSC's Applied Technology Division (ATD), based in Fort Worth, Texas, a division of CSC's Federal Sector. ATD operates at approximately 40 different field operational sites in the United States and overseas and offers a wide range of services to government and commercial agencies in the areas of infrastructure support, mission and range support and managed services.
Mr. Purnell provides the financial management and long-term growth strategies for ATD which achieved over $800 million in annual revenue in fiscal year 2006. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of accounting and operational finance including project accounting; program controls; cash management; budgeting and forecasting; regulatory compliance and pricing. Mr. Purnell is a member of the resource management boards of CSR & DynPar Joint Ventures. He has over 20 years experience in the government contracting industry. Prior to assuming his current position in 2001, Mr. Purnell served as the controller and director of program controls and pricing for BAE Systems Flight Systems (formerly Tracor and Marconi Flight Systems), a company specializing in aerial target systems and aircraft modification. He also held key management positions with Raytheon (formerly E-Systems) and Tracor, Inc.
Mr. Purnell holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
